For a number of years the impressive 2006 “Classics” Voyager Class Optimus Prime was seen as one of the best mainline Optimus Prime figures around, that was until 2018.

Character: Delights in causing confusion for the Cybertrons. Physically strong in robot mode; once he is on a rampage he is out of control.

Masterpiece Megatron MPM-8

 

In March 2006 Film Producer Don Murphy posted a green light image on his message board signifying the Transformers movie was going to happen. Looking back it does seem quite fast that the final movie came out just over a year later in July 2007 considering all the photo realistic CGI involved.

Background: One of the doppelgangers secretly constructed to fool enemies and protect Megatron from traitors in his own ranks. Has acted in his leader's place in numerous battles.
