One of the first wave of evil Binaltech soldiers resurrected from the 'Bad Production Incident,' caused by the Destrons' takeover of the Binaltech Project. A specialist in black market trading and weapons manufacturing, he developed a modified Cosmic Rust tactical weapon and was responsible for triggering the Binaltech Project, which affected numerous Cybertron warriors. Although he appears to have a friendly and easy-going personality, he is actually an extremely greedy, self-centred opportunist. He added his own name to the top of the list of candidates to gain a Binaltech body, overriding the injured who should have been given priority.

This provided him with a more discreet appearance and GT System-compatibility, resulting in his rebirth as a new Binaltech warrior. In conjunction with his partner, a replica automaton, he utilises his superior intelligence to execute dangerous missions with style.

A young Cybertron with many aspirations, he became the new Cybertron leader, succeeding Convoy, who was killed in the 2005 Unicron War. After hurling Galvatron into outer space, Galvatron crashed on Earth, causing the destruction of a city. Overwhelmed with guilt, Hot Rodimus passed the Matrix of Leadership to Ultra Magnus and travelled to Earth alone. After passing through the anti-electron field installed around Earth by humans, Hot Rodimus's functionality was under critical strain. A mysterious group of Transformers known as 'Legion' suddenly appeared and attempted parasitech fusion with him. However, he was saved with a kiss from Syaosyao, a girl with Kiss Player abilities. This reformatting granted Hot Rodimus a new body and kung fu skills.

An artificial Transformer created by the Earth Defence Command (E.D.C.) using advanced Transformers' technology, designed specifically to combat the Transformers themselves. They are deployed to protect and eliminate the mysterious Transformer group, 'Legion', from the capital city, Tokyo. As of 2006, a total of 48 units are active, with 4 units assigned to each platoon within E.D.C. Tokyo. Individually, they possess autonomous thinking and action capabilities comparable to those of the original Transformers. However, due to the superior combat abilities of the enemy Legion, they can only match those abilities by kiss-fusing with human Kiss Players. Although they have a relatively gentle and hardworking nature, they can be quite overbearing. While they generally share the same personality traits, each unit develops slightly different characteristics based on their individual Kiss Player partners, as they operate independently. Unit 'Ne-04' switched its partner from “Shaoshao Li” to “Atari Hitotonari”. Upon its initial fusion with Atari, it exhibited berserker-like combat prowess. Additionally, it occasionally displays a reprimanding attitude towards its new partner.
